We’re Looking for a Property Manager!
Camp Sidrabene, is a 65 acre Church Recreational Retreat Centre located in Burlington, owned by Toronto St. Andrew's Evangelical Latvian Lutheran Church, it is searching for an energetic, enthusiastic individual, qualified and interested in living and working in an ideal country setting.
Responsibilities include maintaining the grounds, operating small farm equipment, conducting small repairs, ensuring proper upkeep of buildings, and managing rental of all facilities on the property, all year round. Knowledge of the Latvian language would be an asset.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the maintenance of buildings and property, basic computer literacy plus a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license.
Salary is commensurate with experience and accommodation on site is included.

June Update
Sidrabene is excited to finally move into Step One of the COVID reopening plan on Friday June 11, 2021.
Sidrabene Gate Duty will start Friday June 11, 2021. We will be taking contact information as required for contact tracing.
Please Note: This year, entrance passes are name-specific and non-transferable.
Available Passes
- Day Pass – $15 per person
- Weekend Pass – $25 per person (Friday to Sunday + Holidays)
- Season Pass – $40 per person
- Camping Pass – $30 per tent/per night (Each person camping also needs a personal entrance pass)
- Under 18 – No cost
Pool and splash pad is open with restrictions
You must comply with capacity limits as well as gathering limits at all times. There will be a sign-up sheet on weekends with posted time frames that you will have to observe.
- If you are not feeling well stay at home
- 10 people maximum at one time between deck and in pool
- No slide use
- No furniture will be provided
- No lifejackets or pool toys provided
- Follow the direction arrows on the deck and maintain 2m physical distance from others not in your household
- To minimize change room use people are encouraged to change at home
- Activate the splash button with your elbow, not your hand
- Practise proper hand hygiene

Many Hands Make Light Work Spring TALKA May 1st
Currently we are under “Emergency Stay At Home” orders that have been extended for an additional 2 weeks. Therefore an organized Talka will not occur.
PERSONAL ENTRANCE PASS (AKA: SEASONS PARKING PASS)
There will be two season passes for each leased lot as part of the annual lease dues process. These passes are now name specific / personal passes. Please provide Andy Grinbergs the names associated with each numbered pass. You can pick up your pass at Sidrabene or if preferred the 2 passes can be mailed as long as we know the 2 names that are to go on the passes.
